Beer Week is back with a vengeance April 19th to 27th, 2019. From bar games and raffles to specialty brews and imports, this is one event you don’t want to miss. The cherry on top of the flagon? It’s for a good cause! Proceeds from certain items all week go to Max Higbee Center, a much-valued recreation and enrichment center for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The 2019 Bellingham Beer Week To-Do List!
Kulshan Beer Olympics Friday, April 19th - 5pm to 10pm
The 2019 Beer Week kick-off event invites 22 teams of 4 to compete in 8 wacky challenges of Olympic proportions. Team registration is full, but it doesn’t hurt to sign up for the wait list. Spectating is free, so join the crowd for drinks, games, and a sight to behold.
Stones Throw Block Party Saturday, April 20th - 12pm to 8pm
This local fairhaven brewery knows how to throw a block party. With its fine flavors and relaxed atmosphere, the brewpub pulls in a grassroots following that loves to sip a brew and breathe in the Bellingham air. Come to this free, all-ages event with food trucks, games, and live music all day.
Wear a Bellingham Beer Tee at Chuckanut Brewery Sunday, April 21 - 11am to 9:30pm
Visit Chuckanut Brewery sporting a T-shirt from your favorite Bellingham brewery and enjoy $4 pints. Then turn in early because there are still 6 days left of Beer Week!
Deutsche Nacht Monday, April 22nd - 5pm to 10pm
A ravishing lineup of imported German beers is paired with a special menu at The Local Public House. Drink your fill of Berliner Weissbier, Kölsch, Gose, Dunkelweizen, and Bock in a laid-back pub in a central location across the street from the bus station.
Wear Local T-Day at Aslan Brewing Co Tuesday, April 23rd - 11am to 11pm
The deal is simple: come to Bellingham’s beloved Aslan Brewing Co wearing a T-shirt from any Whatcom County brewery, and enjoy $3 pints all day. Feeling hungry? Grab a Reuben and a Reuben at The Local Public House for $17.
Kick-Off for Classical on Tap Wednesday, April 24th - 7pm to 8:30pm
Mix in a little class to your beer-drinking festivities with a free classical concert on the Chuckanut Brewery patio. Whatcom Symphony director Gail Ridenour will be presenting music for the palette of the classical fan and the curious listener. Join the trivia games to win swag and concert tickets.
Ping Pong Tournament Thursday, April 25th - 5pm to 8pm
Ping pong wizzes will be coming out of the woodwork to test their skills at Chuckanut Brewery. Is your serving elbow a bit rusty? Don’t worry. Participation is 100% free, and you have a chance to win a tasty prize. Join the madness or cheer on your friends as they play the best traditional sport served with beer.
Pre-April Brews Day Block Party Friday, April 26th - 5pm to 10pm
April Brews Day is so big, the pregame starts 24 hours ahead. Introducing the 4th annual Pre-April Brews Day Block Party. Don’t forget to take home your limited edition April Brews Day glass!
April Brews Day Saturday, April 27th - 6:30pm to10pm
The big event takes place at the Bellingham Depot Market Square, the same spot as the Saturday Farmer’s Market. 12 food trucks will be dishing out tastes of Bellingham’s best while three local bands give the crowd something to toast to. Tickets go on sale April 1st. The event will be raising money for the Max Higbee Center recreational programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
